I have been influenced by the children book illustrators Beatrix Porter, Maurice Sendak and Arthur Rackham.  They are all great illustrators with magical and imaginative artwork and great use of pen, ink and water color.

When illustrating for children, it is important to get in touch with your own inner child. That way you can play around with your imagination and think from the children’s perspective.
