Carol Coogan is an artist, illustrator, graphic designer and writer. She is also the creator of the “Backyard Naturalist,” a weekly newspaper column for the Times Union of the Capital District, NY, and also the “St. Agnes Sketchbook,” an art feature for the Evangelist. She’s illustrated for a variety of publishers and business organizations, including Harcourt Brace, A Gentle Wind (Music & Stories for Children), Pangaia, Sagewoman, NYS Child & Family Services, Llewellyn Worldwide Publications, Sunstone Press and Chelsea Green.
